Speaking at his weekly radio show on Wednesday, LSU head coach Les Miles said that talented freshman defensive end Arden Key could play two-thirds of every defensive snap on Saturday. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"I think Arden Key will play, I would say, two-thirds of every defensive snap in this first game, and I think he is a lightning-fast, long, rangy defensive end and a guy that will get nothing but better with time. And I think Ed Orgeron's doing a great job with the defensive line."
Key is currently listed second of the depth chart at defensive end behind junior Tashawn Bower.

Junior Lewis Neal is listed as a starter at the other defensive end spot, with Sione Teuhema as his backup.

"I don't think Les would start him unless he was potentially the best DE we had... I am excite!"

Technically he's not starting ... just getting a lot of playing time. Either way ... I'M ON BOARD!

Hell yeah! Just wait until he masters the playbook and gets accustomed to college ball, I can't wait. He's gonna be a good one

Seems pretty clear to me what Miles is saying. Try reading slower to avoid hurting your brain.

2/3 of every snap. So Les will be pulling him before the play ends or putting him in after it starts? Good thing he's not a math or English coach

He could be a generational talent at DE if this means what it seems.
