LSU quarterback Joe Burrow remains at No. 3 in ESPN's Heisman Watch after Week 5, right behind Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Burrow has 1,520 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns on the season. He also has one rushing touchdown.
quote:

3. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
Total points: 26 (first-place votes: 1)

Notable: Burrow was off Saturday; otherwise, he probably would have joined Hurts, Tagovailoa and Fields in putting up ridiculous numbers. Through five weeks, Burrow has the second-best passer rating in the country (behind Hurts and ahead of Tagovailoa) and has led LSU to an average of 57.8 points per game.

Quotable: "This LSU team with Joe Burrow now is actually fun to watch on the offensive side of the ball. Joe Burrow has been as good as anyone in the country." -- ESPN's Joey Galloway

Heisman odds: 9-2

He gets it even with a L to Alabama (and that's the only loss), only key is he can't shite the bed in that game.

It will come down to if he/LSU beats Bama. Nobody really wants to vote for a third OU QB in a row.

Under-rated. His stats are better than anyone! Total completion percentage, downfield completion percentage, and what's he's done for LSU's offense is the best performance through 4 games in the history of college football.
