LSU head coach Les Miles addressed the media during his weekly press conference on Monday and provided injury updates on offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins and defensive end DeSean Smith.

Hawkins suffered an ankle injury against Arkansas in the first half and was replaced by KJ Malone. Miles said that Hawkins will most likely not practice on Monday but hopes to have him back sometime this week.

Smith did not dress out Saturday as he recovers from an injury. Smith had an MRI and the injury does not appear to be serious, according to Miles.

The loss of DeSean will prove to be huge considering how much he's contributed this year

That'll save us 3-4 penalties a game.
