LSU freshman wide receiver Tyron Johnson was selected by NFL.com College Football Writer Bryan Fischer as one of his 15 impact freshman for the 2015 season.

Here is what he had to say about Johnson:
quote:

6. Tyron Johnson, WR, LSU
The skinny: Malachi Dupre came in as a true freshman last season and immediately became a playmaker. This year it will be Johnson's turn. Like Dupre, Johnson is a blue-chipper from New Orleans who should immediately be in the fold at receiver due to his terrific quickness and hands. There have been plenty of Odell Beckham, Jr., comparisons for Johnson, and while he might not live up to that hype, he'll help a young offense grow.
Here are Johnson highlights from his senior season at Warren Easton.

"Trust our staff over any of the services."

As long as you're talking about any position other than quarterback.

Don't we first have to be able to execute a forward pass before he can be an impact player? I know its been a few months since we played but I vividly remember we have arguably the worst QB play in the NCAA. If you can feed the horses they can't win the race. So unless we are talking potential return game he will struggle to be a game changer.

Beast WR group and Dural and Chark as 3* recruits just shows you how poor some of these recruiting services miss more than hit.

Trust our staff over any of the services.

Right now before he even practices at LSU, I'd put him as LSU's 6th WR at worse.

Dural 3*
Dupre 5*
Diarse 4*
Chark 3*
Quinn 4*
Johnson 5*

He could move up as he's possibly the most polished WR recruit we've had in a few years.
