Guest Captains Announced For LSU's Home-Opener vs. Grambling

The LSU Tigers will take the field at Tiger Stadium on Saturday for the home opener vs. Grambling. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM on ESPN+ & SECN+.

The Guest Captains for Saturday's game will be former running back Alley Broussard and outside linebacker Michael Brooks.

Michael Brooks = best OLB I ever saw at LSU. He and the late Toby Caston (@ ILB) were a force of nature.

Watch the game for free. The law ain't after consumers, only the distributors. I haven't missed a game in 7 or 8 years.

Hell, I even caught some of the McNeese State game last week. Who the hell carries McNeese...haha?

I was thinking...didn't Broussard quit the team? So I looked it up and yeah: Broussard left the LSU football team during the summer before the 2007 season, stating "My heart is no longer in it."

Kinda weird to have him back as a guest captain, are we running low on GC prospects?

I wouldn’t hate on him too hard. He got hurt and was never the same and he knew it andI believe that’s why he quit.

When healthy Broussard was one of the best running backs in the country. Held record for the most rushing yards in a game until Fournette broke it.
