Frank Wilson Provides Update On John Emery Jr.'s Eligibility Status

New running back coach Frank Wilson spoke to the media on Thursday and said that running back John Emery Jr. will be eligible and ready to play next season.

Emery Jr. was not eligible to play this last season due to academic issues. It would have been his junior season.

This goes to show you just how poorly run the LSU Football Program was. Nobody was doing their job. Academic issues, roster management issues, recruiting issues, on the field coaching issues, off the field coaching issues, and lack of commitment by players. No wonder why Brian Kelly came in and ran off damn near everyone from coaches, strength staff, analysts, the do nothing named Austin Thomas, a just about everyone else. Brian Kelly took over a rotten program and had to scorch the Earth. I am glad he did.

Bk said in his press conference that he will focus heavily on the state first and foremost. Even looking for La kids in the portal that wanted to be tigers. Also, John doesn't have low grades, he didn't fail, he passed the wrong class. What a failure by Coack O and support staff. Your "stident"- Athlete comment was ignorant.

Brennan and Emery have to be ready to play. Brennan seems good mentally. I hope Emery comes in with his head on straight, being a five star means he has the physical gifts.
