Former LSU defensive tackle signee Travonte Valentine now plays at Arizona Western Junior College after many issues kept him of the field in Baton Rouge.

After being ruled academically eligible by the SEC, Valentine sat out his freshman season and reportedly fell behind in school and struggled to stay in shape.

Valentine was ultimately removed from the LSU Football program and moved on to Arizona Western but hopes to return to Division 1-A Football again. Per NOLA.com:

"I've heard from Florida State, Florida, Texas A&M and some other schools," he said. "Once schools get to see my grades in December, I'm pretty sure I will hear from more schools."

While that is a moment he is looking forward to, Valentine is hoping that one specific school gives him a shot.

"You know where I want to be—at LSU, man," Valentine stated emphatically when asked where he would like to go. "I mean that became my home. This is my last chance to get things right. I know that. I have made some big changes in my life. Hopefully they will see that."

I like it, we need quality depth on the line with the ability to run more packages. Would also be amazing to see him accomplish what he needs to get back.
