Former LSU wide receiver Jazz Ferguson announced Sunday that he will be transferring to Northwestern State University.


Ferguson, 6-5 wide receiver from St. Francisville, La played in the first seven games of the 2016 season before being suspended for undisclosed reasons.

Excellent choice by Jazz. He should be a beast in Natchitoches! With the level of competition not as steep as the SEC, he should put up some impressive numbers and get noticed by NFL scouts more so than at LSU with all the talented receivers we have. Good luck Jazz!

would have loved to see you play with the Lions in Hammond, but I totally get this move. With Fletcher throwing the ball to him, they may be the #1 duo in FCS next season.

The Demons need the help. Won only one game last year, and that was against a Division II church school.
