Two days in the NFL was enough for former LSU offensive tackle K.J. Malone.

The undrafted rookie and son of NBA Hall of Fame forward Karl Malone was placed on the reserve retired list

Malone had trained locally at Plex with veteran trainer Danny Arnold and Hall of Fame offensive lineman Bruce Matthews.

Malone Jr., was a four-star recruit from Ruston, La., and a two-year starter.

He missed six games last season with a knee injury, starting the first six games at left tackle.

K.J. Malone made the right decision because if your heart is not in professional football you cannot play it. So instead of ending your career as an OT end your career as a retired Chief Superintendent of Police. Good luck to you K.J. and may success follow you where ever you go.

He is winner and has lots of other things he will prosper at. Rather that messing his body up to camp he said it’s time
