Former LSU tight end Dillon Gordon, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent, is working out at the offensive guard position, according to multiple sources.

The Edgard, La. native missed most of the 2015 season with an achilles injury and was seeking a medical redshirt which would grant him one more year of eligibility. When his request was denied in late April, Gordon had just a few weeks to prepare for LSU's Pro Day.

What's genius is we have been playing a OG at TE. That's really genius. With the way football is played in this modern era, we just use the position to add another OL. Pure genius.

Solid football player who will transition well to Gaurd. Kudos to Dillon and the Eagles for seeing potential!
