Former LSU cornerback Saivion Smith announced back in May that he would be transferring out of the program.

On Monday we learned that Smith will be taking the JUCO route and is heading to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, MS.

So know we know the secret. The kid couldn't read anything past a teletubby pop up picture book.

no need to bash the kid. not everyone can handle the academic side. especially if they were raised without an emphasis on education. but thats all speculation, you dont know shite about the kid so you dont have to be a fricking a-hole

Him leaving must had something to do with poor grades. Maybe we can get him back if he gets back on track.

Just because the kid went to a JUCO doesn't mean he had academic issues. The JUCO route gives him the opportunity to sign wherever he wants without any restrictions.

You come on to a website about LSU sports, bash an ex LSU player for his perceived intelligence. All while making numerous spelling and grammatical errors. Then proceed to make 4 posts on the same thread. Yet somehow we are the sensitive ones. You seem to be quite insecure to keep coming to check on the same thread multiple times in a day.

Lots of kids go the Juco route and have great success. Remember Cam Newton? That worked out pretty good for him, didn't it? I think Savion made a good decision. Time will tell. Best of luck to him!
