After two seasons in Baton Rouge, former LSU cornerback Eli Ricks announced that he will be transferring to Alabama.

Ricks, a former five-star prospect from Santa Ana, CA, signed with the Tigers as part of the 2020 class. He played in all 10 games during his true freshman season with seven starts.

He played in six games this past season but was ruled out for the year on October 13 because of a lingering injury that required a procedure. He entered his name into the transfer portal at the end of November.

Seems like LSU has had a lot of Ricks lately. Will it ever stop?

He’ll bust. His initial 5 star status can carry him to the nfl, but he’ll really have nothing to show for it. Think Dre Kirkpatrick. It’ll be fun to watch the Bama fans shite all over him.

It’s all business with the players. They use whichever school to increase their future financial earnings. Fans pay the players for entertainment. In the end, we’re all selfish and after something.

Transfer Portal is bad for the sport. If they are going to keep it one rule that should be in play is no transferring in the same conference without sitting a year.
