Certainly not Bama's best team that they've fielded, but I'm super impressed with our teams performance. It was a lot closer than the score indicated and considering how young our team is and this was a road game I hope they left the stadium with their heads held high. Looking forward to playing Bama next year, with an older team, at home!

I enjoyed the mercy knee at the end, I guess Nick has a soft spot for an old shrimp boat captain.

Quit acting like the team drove 99 yards on the ground or some shite then took a knee.

If you really watched the game in depth then you know that this game was far closer than the final score indicates. Saban even admitted such. LSU is coming, like an Avalanche they are coming! Keep the same coaching staff in place with a new Quarterback next year and look out!

Man I just got banned from the SEC Rant for the first time and I didn't even post anything remotely close to being a flame r a troll job. I'm truly stunned. Anyway LSU was a few missed- dropped passes from possibly winning that game. Regardless of the score that game was a nail biter throughout and I hope a bunch of people made money on taking LSU + the points. I just hope Mississippi State doesn't benefit from the post LSU game fatigue. Our Bama players sure took a physical pounding tonight. Good game LSU fans.

Intensity and emotion just wasn't there. Especially on defense. Our defense usually come on the field hyped up. I didn't see that tonight and I noticed it immediately when the stepped on the field after the opening kickoff. I also felt they were timid on both sides of the ball. I got the impression that they were playing not to make mistakes, which is exactly what caused mistakes. Gage was jogging on the jets sweeps. I couldn't be the only one who noticed that!

Mouche337 I must strongly disagree with your assessment of the lack of intensity from the LSU players especially the LSU offensive and defensive lines. I saw a young LSU O-Line blow Bama's D-Line off the ball many times tonight. Yalls D-Line got great penetration in the Bama backfield on many plays as well. I saw two well rested teams pound the crap out of each other with incredible intensity tonight. If Miss St upsets Bama next week, they can thank the LSU players for the victory.

Did you watch the same game as everyone else? Defense played great. Bama rushes for only 116 yards. Scarborough and Harris combined for less than 75. If Harris didn’t have a couple of big runs (that blown sack in the first hurt) they have nothing. Playing not to make mistakes and out physicaling your opponent has gotten Bama pretty far. If Etling is a bit more accurate/could throw more than 30 yards we have some big plays. Inaccurate deep balls led to multiple missed opportunities. I can honestly say that LSU outhit Bama in this game. The number of guys to come out from the Bama defense can attest to that. The main difference that still separates the two teams is QB play. Hopefully Brennan or Narcisse (or some combination of the two) can develop into an actual qb threat.

The biggest thing I was upset about was watching the coaching give up. At the end of the first half, there was plenty of time to at least try and come away with some points rather than run the clock. And at the end of the game you could see Guice’s frustration when Brennan came in and the play calling to at least try and win wasn’t there.

Great effort tonight guys. Just need a dual threat qb to make some noise next year. Please no more slow arse Qbs that can't move the pocket.

Would be fine if the QB could throw accurately and deep. Danny is a heck of a competitor, but he’s no elite quarterback.

LSU was the better team although score board said otherwise. Time for Brennan to finish out the season. Etling can't hit a receiver in stride to see his life. We went conservative after the INT which was not necessary since wee had nothing to lose going on!

I'm anxious to see what Narcisse can do in this offense.

SOS mediocre qb play, not enough offensive scoring and another loss. Sickening again

We haven’t beat Bama since I was in college and that’s a long fricking time ago.

Typical missed opportunities. Frustrating. We should win out though and have a nice bowl game.

My exact thoughts too. Thought we were the more physical team.
