ESPN College Football analysts Joey Galloway and Jesse Palmer unveiled their top five teams after the completion of week 8 and Galloway didn't even include LSU in his list, which is crazy.

His top five was:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. Texas
5. Michigan

Palmer had LSU at No. 4 in his list behind Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame.
quote:

Palmer: "I can't ignore LSU's resume at this point in the season now beating Miami, Auburn, and then Georgia and now Mississippi State. Their defense is lights outs. Something to watch for though, their best player on defense; Devin White... targeting penalty against Mississippi State in the 4th quarter. He's going to miss the first half of their game against Alabama in two weeks. Keep your eye on that."

Galloway: "I like LSU but that resume is starting to fall apart a little bit with Auburn not looking like the team we thought they would be."

Galloway has always been an LSU hater. Doesn't surprise me that he left them out of his top 5.

It kills him seeing the once Buckeye “backup” ahead of the current Buckeye starter.

And this is why we no longer allow the press to decide who’s number 1 in the country anymore.

Auburn has seen roster attrition and a major lack of locker room comradery since we played them. They are nowhere near the team they were when we played them and if we played them today we’d beat them by multiple scores.

Haters gonna hate. Personally, I love this!

Thanks for the bulletin board material, Joey.

Why do you guys confer an air of authority on ESPN employees? They have a job to appear on the tube, but that doesn't make any of them any more perceptive than us morons.

Herb Kirkstreet is the worst.

There is no way Herbie is worse than this Cro-Magnon. Galloway's brain is probably the size of a walnut.

They just didn't want their top 5's to be the same ad JG left out LSU because they figure that we will lose to Bama so we wont be in the top 5 after that anyway.
