The crew of SEC writer over at ESPN released their predictions for the LSU-Arkansas game this weekend at Razorback Stadium.

All but one, Greg Ostendorf, picked LSU to win. Here are the predictions:
quote:

LSU at Arkansas - 7 p.m. ET, ESPN

Edward Aschoff: LSU wins 27-21
David Ching: LSU wins 21-14
Sam Khan Jr.: LSU wins 34-24
Greg Ostendorf: Arkansas wins 20-17
Alex Scarborough: LSU wins 28-20
The last time Ostendorf was the only one to pick against the Tigers this season was when Auburn defeated LSU 18-13 on Sept. 24.

35-14 I was very close on my prediction. Thought we could have beaten worse but was going safe pick. I knew there was no way Etling was gonna have another bad game nor would the offense. If you look at the bama game film we rushed things to the extreme and that's why we lost. I think we win it without LF next year without question.

LSU wins in a close game. TOs on both sides keeps the game close. Key gets another 1.5 sacks

This game is a true litmus for Coach O. He has to show that the team does not completely deflate like previous teams after a tough Alabama loss. I hope he shines!!!

The Tigers will win this game for Coach O. The team knows he needs to win out to have a real shot at being retained. Should be close, but LSU will prevail 30-17!
