Multiple sources are reporting that defensive tackle Maquedius Bain and center Elliott Porter did not make the trip to Houston for the season opener along with cornerback Rashard Robinson and wide receiver Malachi Dupre. Per The Advocate:

The source didn’t give a reason for Bain’s absence, but it is believed to be a suspension. Porter’s absence is unknown. Team spokesman Michael Bonnette said Miles will not address personnel news until after Saturday’s game. The No 13 Tigers and No. 14 Badgers meet at 8:10 p.m. Saturday at NRG Stadium.

Bain and Porter join cornerback Rashard Robinson and freshman receiver Malachi Dupre as prominent players who did not make the trip. Robinson, like Bain, is believed to be suspended for the game, a source said. Dupre injured his ankle earlier this week in practice, multiple sources said.
Bain is listed as the No. 2 at defensive tackle behind Christian LaCouture. Freshman Davon Godchaux and redshirt freshman Greg Gilmore are now expected to back up LaCouture.

Sophomore Ethan Pocic will start at center.
