Ed Orgeron spoke on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday and said that they have not made a final decision on what to do with quarterback Myles Brennan who is dealing with an abdominal injury that involves the hip.

Orgeron suggested last week that Brennan could be done for the season but said this Wednesday that he will try to practice one day this week. Per The Advocate:
quote:

"We're still trying," Orgeron told reporters Wednesday on the weekly Southeastern Conference teleconference. "We still haven't made a decision. He made a little progress this week. He hasn't practiced yet. I think he's going to try to practice one time this week. It doesn't look like he's going to play, but the final decision has not been made, and the decision to go ahead and operate has not been made yet."

This season is a wash. It's not worth it at this point to put him on the field. Give the two freshman valuable game experience this season, and let Myles get healthy for next year. Geaux Tigers!
