LSU Sports - Chris Parent (@chrisparent)
After practice on Thursday, head coach Ed Orgeron was asked if he has seen a difference in Joe Burrow's play since being named the starter for the season opener vs. Miami.
quote:

"He's been more sure of himself," Orgeron said. "Taking his time, poised, making some big plays."

"He ran the ball very well, Joe can run the football. If he gets in trouble he can extend plays with his feet. He's a good athlete and a good leader. The team has bought into him. It's going to be exciting to see."
The follow-up question to that was if they had any designed run plays for Burrow?

"Do you want the formation too?" Orgeron jokingly said.

I just that hope our offensive line can keep him off of his arse.

It looks and sounds like HE can keep himself off his arse. And that's good. It's what we've been chasing for years: someone who can throw first who is also mobile, not necessarily a runner who can throw a little bit, too. We've been missing the mark...until now?

I’d feel more confident if Ed Ingram didn’t enjoy diddling teenagers

He also scored two touchdowns on the ground, finishing the game with an average of 10-plus yards per carry on a night where MGCCC went for 227 total rushing yards. Narcisse's two scores on the ground came from 34 yards on his first carry of the game, then from one yard out, punching it in from the goal line on fourth down.

We gave up that explosiveness. And at last check that already surpasses Burrows career stats...

And Narcisse's stats from last night matter why? He doesn't play for LSU so we don't need to see what he did last in a JUNIOR COLLEGE game. Good for him. Wish him the best but theres no need to post his stats when we are discussing the current LSU QB

Dellis, Please don't watch LSU football anymore. Fans like you ruin the sport.

I will be the loudest cheerleader in the place at every game. For Burrow and all the Tigers. I just speak on the situation as I see it. If you disagree, that's cool. We don't have to be agreeable all the time. But I know we let a hell of a player walk for a transfer that may or may not pan out. If he pans out that will be great and i like the taste of humble pie.

Offensive Line. Please be good, please be good. All the confidence in the world on this team even with the question marks. I have a great feeling about this year and love that everyone is doubting us. Dark Horse!!
