LSU's defensive line depth is getting closer and closer to full-strength, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.

During his weekly radio show on Wednesday night, Orgeron said defensive end Rashard Lawrence is healthy and nose tackle Ed Alexander has had a great week of practice. Both suffered injuries earlier this season.

Orgeron also said that edge rusher Arden Key is in the best shape that he's been all season after battling back from offseason shoulder surgery and weight gain. Teammate Christian LaCouture also confirmed earlier this week that Key is finally getting back to his normal self.

Need to scrap the 3-4 and play a 4-3 if you want to stop them and not give up 5.1ypc

Its all about how our 3 down lineman play their gaps. If we have healthy depth, we will be fine. If we are running with 4 D-lineman like we were at one point, we will give up 300 yards on the ground..... but that wont be the case ;)

Get upfield and be disruptive ALL game. Gotta make plays at the LOS, gotta get off the field on 3d down. GT!
