Here's is everything Ed Orgeron had to say about LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady who is being mentioned for open offensive coordinator jobs outside of Baton Rouge.

Q. You mentioned a couple of times the plans Scott Woodward had in place for Joe Brady. Did you all want to get him retained before the season was over, and did you all anticipate the NFL would be the toughest sell?

ED ORGERON: We just had a plan, but all the coaches have meetings after the season what would be appropriate and what we wanted to do, so just a preliminary plan we worked on, and that's it.

Q. And with Joe Brady, did you all anticipate the NFL would probably be the toughest sell with him?

ED ORGERON: You don't know. You never can tell -- NFL, college. I think Joe is an outstanding coach, so you have to be prepared for both.

Q. Regardless of what you may have tried to do already with Coach Brady, being a coach for so long, do you feel like that's not going to be over until it's over? Which February is about when NFL and college hires are wrapping up.

ED ORGERON: We'll see. Let's see what happens at the end of the run here. We have a couple of weeks left. I do feel that Joe is going to be a Tiger. I feel like everything is just about wrapped up, and I feel good about where we are. You know football, you never can tell what's going to happen, but I feel confident saying Joe is going to be here with us at LSU. He's a great young man. We've just about got everything wrapped up. Not completely finalized yet, but we're very close.

He was basically a 2nd tier assistant coach with the Saints. A passing game coordinator with LSU. I think that with his age and need of more experience/seasoning he will be with LSU for a couple of more years. Then make the jump to HC or OC. Canada was a flash in the pan. Joe needs to prove that he has staying power.

He’s gone. He’s literally accomplished everything you can and he did it in one season. He will move on to a new challenge after the championship game

I don't get any warm fuzzies from this Q&A.

Well Woodward overpaid out his arse for a Jimbo so maybe he can work a reasonable deal for Brady.

But unlike Jimbo, Brady is worth every dime he could get from Woodward.

Woodward absolutely overpaid Jimbo and Jimbo doesn’t know how to manage his players but Scott Woodward did very well at Texas A & M.

LSU made Brady what he is now, he was basically unknown and for him to ditch LSU does not look good not to mention it is extremely risky for his career.

I best news I heard yet is the Giants want brady as OC. Lolol that ain't happening. Giants can pry Joe Brady way from LSU. Lsu has same kinda cash all these NFL and college teams can dish out. Joe Brady is very happy at LSU. That photo on Twitter where Joe Brady is walking in the tunnel at ATL dome has his arms around his top two receivers says it all. He is staying at LSU til he decides he has enough experience to be head coach material. I believe coach Oeaux when he says he feels it is wrapped up for Brady to stay at LSU and be a tiger in the future going forward.

Even if he was going I see him wrapping his arms around his receivers so that reference makes zero sense.
