Ed Orgeron Names Potential Starters At Right Tackle, Safety, Nickel

During the LSU Football Caravan event in Houston on Wednesday, head coach Ed Orgeron suggested that Austin Deculus will likely start at right tackle and Eric Monroe will likely start at safety/nickel.

Both players are from the Houston area.

Interesting. Monroe has looked very good. If he does start, you've got 2 guys backing him up in Battle and Paris with a lot of playing time.

Pandering to the home crowd for recruiting inroads? I would assume Delpit & Battle are starters again at safety, and Charles & Traore are the starting OT’s, correct?

I guess you decided not to watch the end of the Auburn game if you think talking up Monroe is "pandering"
