LSU offensive lineman Ed Ingram has been serving an indefinite suspension since August of 2018 and head coach Ed Orgeron said Monday at SEC Media Days that he is "not too optimistic" about his return to the team.

Ingram was arrested on aggravated sexual assault charges on August 2, 2018, just one day before fall camp started last year.

A Texas grand jury has formally indicted Ingram on October 31, 2018. The alleged incident occurred before his time at LSU.

Ingram, a sophomore from DeSoto, Texas started in 12 games at right guard during the 2017 season as a true freshman.

Saban (and most coaches) would play him right up until he was put in jail or found innocent. Maybe it's time LSU played by their rules.

You’re suggesting he is active when he was indicted on sexual assault charges? And hasn’t been cleared? Lol. Yeah Saban and everybody else definitely do that. Moron

If he was at TAM or UT this would be resolved by now amirite

If Ed can stay in shape and we get him back at least a couple weeks before the Alabama game that would be pretty good.

This really is dragging. Either the DA is scrambling for evidence or this is close to a dismissal. If the DA had him they would set this for trial or he would have pled out.

There’s evidence because it’s going to trial. No way it does if da wasn’t confident

that's my point, it does not have a trial setting
