Losing draft-eligible players to the NFL is nothing new for LSU and it's something that Ed Orgeron is preparing for as the end of the season approaches.

On Wednesday, Orgeron joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference and said the Tigers could lose a couple of juniors from the offensive line to the NFL Draft but that they will prepare for that in recruiting.

Left guard Garrett Brumfield, center Will Clapp and right tackle Toby Weathersby are all eligible to leave for the draft after this season.

Orgeron also added that the freshmen that have played on the offensive linemen this year are "seasoned vets" now which will help the Tigers in 2018.

Too many bad decisions by upper classman (Malcahi Dupree most recent). Stay in school for another year...that should be the decision by all three Clapp, Brumfield, Weathersby).

if you're not going in the top 3 rounds, then you should stay for your senior year

None of these dudes need to leave. This was the weakest OL LSU has had in a while.

I know Clabb and Brumfield may get draftable grades, but I'm not convinced either of those guys go early. Weathersby's injury problems may be a double edged sword - a push to go early, but at a same time a factor that may push him down the boards and devalue an early exit.

Agreed. The line has performed admirably, given the circumstances. But none of these guys are ready for the NFL. Another year will make a huge difference in their stock. Keep recruiting Coach!
