The NFL Players Association announced on Friday that senior LSU linebacker D.J. Welter has committed to playing in the 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

LSU linebacker D.J. Welter has contributed as a starter in the middle of the Tigers defense for much of the past two seasons. A leader and veteran presence amongst a group of young linebackers, Welter finished the 2014 season with 35 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 pass deflected.
