The Dallas Cowboys passed on picking up a fifth-year option on former LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne's contract. Per ESPN:

Had the Cowboys picked up the option, Claiborne would have been due $11.08 million in 2016.

Claiborne is set to make $2.607 million in 2015, the final year of a contract, and become a free agent after the 2015 season.
Claiborne was drafted by the Cowboys with sixth overall pick in 2012. He has played in just 14 games over the past two seasons because of injuries.

Still surprised he hasn't performed better than he has, being injured has definitely hurt his career though. Hope he can bounce back and perform to his potential, even if it is with the Cowboys

He was actually beaten out by Orlando Scandrick. He didn't even start when he was healthy. Some say he's in the wrong system.

Hope he has a good contract year and signs with a team that has potential to win the Super Bowl.
