LSU head coach Ed Orgeron met with the media after Wednesday's practice and commented on quarterbacks Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan who decided to transfer out of the program this week.

Orgeron said that all quarterbacks were given performance grades from last Saturday's scrimmage and that "pecking order" was established but did not go into further detail about the "pecking order" or the QB rotation.

Here's everything he had to say about the quarterback situation:

3/4 of all QBs on college campuses are backups. Everyone can't start.

All things considered, LSU will have great defense and potential fun and gun O. Get past Canes and new outlook. Count on it. Stud U

TBH this is a good problem to have. To lose 2 talented QB's and still have 2 talent QB's left...we're used to have zero QB's.

When Burrow gets 300+ on the Canes, take him out for some R & R. Brennan needs experience too

The decision was #1 Burrow; #2 Brennan; #3 McMillan; #4 Narcisse. This was no surprise and was the best choice for the team. LSU is going toward a more passing offense and the 2 best and most accurate passers are picked #1 & #2

I know we'll never find out what the grades were, and I'm pretty sure that all 4 of them expected Burrow to get the top grade, but I wonder how far below Brennan's grade the other two were. I'll bet they expected to be closer than they actually were.
