LSU head coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday and explained that while it is technically a bye week, he considers it a "work week" and will continue to practice.
quote:

"We were in full pads today," Kelly said. "We went just under two hours. It was physical out there."

"We are not at a point in our development as a team where we can just tap the brakes. There's just too much development to be done."

"The player will have some time to recover, but we need this work. It's important that we continue to work on the things that have improved. We are getting better as a football team, but we still have a lot of work left. And we need to take advantage of this week."
Kelly appeared on The Paul Finebaum Show Monday and mentioned that they will use the second bye week later this season to recover.
