It's no secret that LSU struggled on special teams last year with issues at punt returner.

This year, Brian Kelly sees the punt returner position as a "positive weapon" for the Tigers with the addition of former Alabama wide receiver and returner Aaron Anderson and four-star freshman receiver Kyle Parker.
quote:

"I like what I see back there, Kelly said. "Aaron is pretty fluid; it comes naturally to him. He looks natural with the football in his hands."

"Kyle Parker looks really good back there too. Gregory Clayton has been real money for us."

"I like where we are there," Kelly said. "I feel a whole lot better than I did last year at this time. I feel really good about that. I don't want to get too far ahead, but I believe it's going to be a positive weapon for us."

The fans can't lose in years like this when there is NOWHERE to go but up after last years abomination that was special teams.

Anderson was huge but since we landed Parker I've been saying that guy was going to be special. Way underrated in recruiting services. I thought he was the best WR LSU got in that class.

Anderson is real deal. He beat Curtis alone with 3 returns. Team that prides it self on special teams. He will be explosive ??
