Head coach Brian Kelly spoke with the media on Tuesday after practice and was asked about his plan to hire a new defensive line coach to replace Jamar Cain.

Cain recently left LSU at the end of March to join the Denver Broncos staff, and senior defensive analyst Gerald Chatman took over as interim defensive line coach for spring practice.

Kelly said that he will begin the process of hiring a new coach once they finish up the spring and then hit the road to meet with candidates. He also said that Chatman would be one of those candidates.

"Expect something within the next three weeks or so," Kelly said. "It's LSU. We have a great list of candidates."

"It's LSU. We have a great list of candidates." I feel much more confident with CBK saying that, than when Ed O said that.
