During the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday morning, Brian Kelly was asked for an injury update on wide receiver Aaron Anderson, who was unable to finish the Ole Miss game last week.
quote:Kelly was also asked if this week's bye week would allow him to be available for the South Carolina game on Oct. 11.
"He had a litany of things... Hip, toe, knee," Kelly explained. "He's banged up. If we were playing Saturday, he would probably answer the bell, but he's going to benefit greatly from the week off."
quote:Anderson has caught 23 passes for 305 yards but has yet to score a touchdown this season. He remains one of Garrett Nussmier's top targets in the passing game.
"I think modern medicine will get him ready for the South Carolina game," Kelly joked.
