Brian Kelly Reveals Injury Update For Freshman WR Jelani Watkins

Brian Kelly spoke with reporters on Wednesday and revealed that freshman wide receiver Jelani Watkins suffered a foot and ankle sprain yesterday in practice.

Watkins was in a walking boot and using crutches on Wednesday but Kelly expects him to be back sooner than later.

I did not expect Watkins to be a factor this year but speed kills I thought he was more of a track guy happy for him that he is in the mix .
