LSU's Brian Kelly spoke on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning and provided an update on offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger, who is recovering from tightrope surgery on his ankle.

Kelly said that Dellinger practiced a little bit yesterday during pass protection and will get involved in the run game today.

Kelly added that he is "optimistic," but they will have to wait and see as the week progresses.

Dellinger suffered a high ankle sprain during the Texas A&M game on October 26 and had surgery shortly after.

Hes not playing... a high level athlete takes 2-3weeks to recover if hes in top level shape.. not a 300plus lineman
