Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports
LSU quarterback Brandon Harris met with the media after practice on Wednesday and talked about Leonard Fournette's ankle injury, which he suffered during Tuesday's scrimmage.
quote:

"Initially it was a very scary moment; Leonard mean a lot to our team," Harris said. "It's an unfortunate situation but at the same time we have four other great backs."

"Leonard is such a big part of our team; it's important that we have him on the field. Just hoping that he heals very soon."
When asked if he would be back for the season opener against Wisconsin:
quote:

"Leonard is a different breed, I think everyone understands that," Harris said. "If Leonard says he'll be back, he'll be back."

"I've talk to Leonard, he's doing well. Everyone is praying and hoping that his ankle heals and I think it will."

Sounds like its more serious than they are saying. Doubt he plays in the opener.

Sounds like Harris isn't allowed to give any specific info on teammate injuries. Doubt you know what you're talking about.

That sounds very cryptic.

Well fournette said himself that he will be playing in the opener. So I'll believe fournette since he is the only one who knows how he feels.

Harris told reporters last year he made a couple audibles into run plays last year. Harris was never seen again by reporters, I don't think he is saying anything Les won't like.

Oh, and "Fournette says he'll be ready for Wisconsin." I'll take his word for it.

I can't be the only one thinking Harris was referring to LF7 coming back for his senior year, can I?

If you're going to put down quotation marks, at least write it how he says it. Leonard "means" a lot..., He "talked" to Leonard. You made him seem like an ignoramous
