Alabama third-string quarterback Mac Jones was arrested Friday morning charged with driving under the influence and improper ID by a minor.

The arrest comes just one day before Alabama's big game vs. LSU. Per AL.com:

The 19-year-old Jones was arrested at about 2:14 a.m. Jones was involved in a car accident with another vehicle and then failed a field sobriety test after police officers discovered that he was intoxicated, said Tuscaloosa Police Department spokesperson Teena Richardson.

No one was injured in the car accident.

Officers also found that Jones was in possession of a fake identification, according to Richardson.
Jones his a third-string freshman quarterback behind starter Jalen Hurts and backup Tua Tagovailoa.

3rd stringer won't be on the roster much longer, it's called being processed. Only if you are a starter that you can get away with anything short of murder.
