LSU WR Coach George McDonald Watches Four-Star Commit Braylon Calais Play

LSU wide receivers coach George McDonald made the trip to Lafayette on Thursday night to watch four-star athlete commit Braylon Calais play for Cecilia High School.

Calais put on a show, scoring three touchdowns in Cecilia's 44-21 win over Teurlings Catholic.

Calais committed to LSU back in April, choosing the Tigers over Texas A&M, Ohio State, Miami, and Houston.

The 6-2, 200-pound prospect from Carencro, La., is rated the No. 10 athlete in the country and the No. 7 overall player in the state of Louisiana for 2027, according to 247Sports.

I've watched him play since he was a Freshman. This wasn't one of his best games by far. He can play a whole lot better than he showed last night.
