Texas redshirt freshman defensive tackle Sydir Mitchell is reportedly visiting LSU this week as a possible transfer destination.

Mitchell, a former four-star prospect from Oradell, N.J., was originally recruited by defensive line coach Bo Davis before he left Austin for the LSU job.

The 6’6, 350-pounder played in five games this year, registering four total tackles as a backup.
