Head coach Ed Orgeron was in Alabama on Wednesday and visited with LSU running back/athlete commit Tae Provens from Gurley, AL and running back target Harold Joiner in Birmingham, AL.

Provens has been committed to the Tigers since June of 2017, while Joiner remains the top uncommitted running back target for the LSU coaching staff.

Joiner is the No. 6 running back in the country and the No. 3 overall player from the state of Alabama for the class of 2018, according to the 247 Composite Rankings.

Man, Joiner is a big one. Need some RBs that are ready to go

Joiner is a starter day 1. He can run inside and outside. Decent pass catcher and even picks up the blitz well. Think along the lines of a slightly faster, and bigger Joe addai

Agree on all accounts! Big dude! We need this guy! Geaux all out and bring him back to BR! If he runs hard like Addai with his size: Damn!
