LSU has just one 2018 recruit on campus this weekend but it was an important one as four-star defensive back commit Kelvin Joseph took his official visit starting on Friday.

The Baton Rouge native publicly committed to LSU at Army All-American game back on Jan. 6, choosing the Tigers over Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State.

The 6-1, 185-pound prospect from Scotlandville Magnet High School is rated the No. 3 overall safety in the country, according to 247Sports and Rivals.

He had one of the best commits this year, when he trolled Bama at the all star game. I think it was the army game, IIRC. Can't wait until the 2nd NSD gets here. It seems like we'll keep him and it'll be a great pick up if we do.

He'd be foolish to go elsewhere with a guy like Aranda coaching the defense. This guy is 1st round potential here.
