LSU has landed another big commitment as four-star safety Kylin Jackson announced his verbal pledge to the Tigers on Saturday.

Jackson, a 6-1, 200-pound prospect from Zachary, La. picked LSU over Texas A&M.

Jackson is rated the No. 10 safety in the country and the No. 10 overall player in the state of Louisiana for the class of 2023, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

LSU now has 20 verbal commitments for the class of 2023 with the addition of Jackson.

How much is Jordy paying these guys to commit on his show? Pretty genius!

It feels like once CBK was able to get his staff in he was hyper focused on building relationships with the High Schools and all the coaches. I know Ed could recruit but CBK has a different tactic and whatever it is it seems to be working. The state pride seems to be back and that will pay off in huge dividends throughout his tenure. These kids seem so happy to suit up for their state and Kelly is selling it perfectly. I’m very excited about the future and if he can keep this rolling things will be in great shape. My main concern is what happens on the first loss, if Kelly can keep the overall structure together instead of just having players throw their hands up then look out, the process is in place and we may in a great spot!

This class is being brought to us by CBK and the staff that all the brilliant people said took too long to get together, because no one wanted to work with him…..

No disrespect to Kylin or his fam but why is the dad in the frame pictured with a neck brace on?

I believe dad is standing behind him... maybe that is his brother. Either way, it is none of our business. That was his moment, obviously whoever that is has had an impact in his life and that is how he chose to show respect.

His announcement video said “every day he thinks about his dad who passed away”.

Why is that anyone's business. The young man chose to have that photo there obviously it means something to him.
