LSU offered Kent State defensive tackle CJ West after he entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.

West, a senior from LaGrange Park, Ill., has registered 110 career tackles, 19.5 TFL, and seven sacks.

The 6-2, 315-pound lineman was a third-team All-MAC selection last season.

Since entering the portal on Tuesday, West has received offers from LSU, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Miami, Colorado and others.

I never thought the portal options on DT would be this thin, 3rd team ALL MAC from Kent State

We need big bodies - come on down Big Fella and get coached up by the best DL position coach in college football

seriously though, identifying diamonds in the rough by correctly evaluating talent/potential is more important these days than it’s ever been. don’t sleep on kids who play in the MAC
