Many LSU coaches were recruiting in Florida on Tuesday and one of the stops they made was in Fort Lauderdale to visit with 2019 four-star running back Kenny McIntosh.

During the visit, the coaching staff extended an offer to 6-1, 205-pound prospect from University School.

McIntosh already holds offers from schools like Alabama, Miami, Florida State, and now LSU.

If Alabama and FSU have already offered him then how can you think it's a waste of time for LSU to offer?

What a waste of time to offer a kid who has not finished his sophomore year of high school. Prediction: He will never enroll at LSU

Dude it's never too early to offer an elite prospect in high school...especially when other top programs have offered him already. You don't want to get behind in anything. I think it's a solid move. Get em coach o!!!

I suppose it costs nothing.... but the Sun Belt and MAC are full of 5* sophomores who became 3* and 2* seniors.

Well my son just finished his Sophomore season in Tampa, and would commit to LSU without hesitation. Just saying, when a kid is offered doesn't mean anything. Unless it's to late
