Four-star defensive tackle CamRon Jackson announced this week that he has flipped his commitment from LSU to Memphis.

Jackson, 6-6, 270-pound prospect from Haynesville, La., originally committed to LSU in 2018 but did not sign with the Tigers this past February to focus on his grades.

With Jackson headed to Memphis, LSU sits at 24 signees for the 2020 class with one open spot remaining.

I remember when he committed. Was hoping he would have stayed, but Memphis is good program and hopefully he does very well there.

It’s all about grades and such. Don’t knock the young man. Understand he missed on the reigning NCs to go to Memphis......it hit him harder than anyone.

Not every player that moves on is "processed". Seems as though he has academic issues
