Dax Hollifield, a four-star inside linebacker from Shelby, NC unveiled his top nine schools on Twitter Thursday and included LSU in the mix.

His top schools are LSU, Alabama, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Florida State, South Carolina, Notre Dame and Stanford.


The 6-1, 220-pound prospect from Shelby, NC is rated the No. 2 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 5 overall player from the state of North Carolina for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He received his offer from LSU on January 31.
