Four-star defensive tackle Shavar Manuel from Bradenton, FL announced is top four schools on Wednesday which included LSU.

The other three schools in Manuel's top four are Florida, FSU, and USF.


The 6-4, 290-pound prospect from IMG Academy made an official visit to LSU back on Oct. 17 when the Tigers beat Florida 35-28. He made the trip with his teammate and current LSU commit Saivion Smith.

He is rated the No. 7 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 8 overall player from Florida for the class of 2016, according to 247 Sports.
