Ben Davis, a five-star linebacker from Gordo, AL released his final five schools on Tuesday and LSU was included in the mix.

Also in the group was Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame, and Georgia.


Davis, a 6-4, 229-pound prospect from Gordo High School, is rated the No. 1 inside linebacker in the county and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Alabama, according to 247 Sports and ESPN.

I highly doubt he would sign with us but he could be a monster and a day 1 starter at LSU.

Plays right down the road from us, there is no way he will go anywhere but Alabama. The only reason LSU and Auburn are on the list is because there are several fans for both schools in this little town north of Tuscaloosa.
