Four-star tight end JC Anderson has flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to LSU.

Anderson, a 6-6, 240-pound prospect from Mt. Zion, Illinois, had been committed to the Rebels since July. He is rated the No. 7 overall player in Illinois and the No. 11 tight end in the country for the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.

Anderson is Lane Kiffin's first commitment at LSU and will be signing with the Tigers on Friday.

Anderson's verbal pledge gives LSU 15 commitments heading into the early signing period starting on Wednesday.

I believe this will be the first of many flipped recruits excited to play for a competent coach of an elite program.
