Malik Herring, a four-star defensive end for the class of 2017, announced his top eight schools via Twitter Tuesday and LSU was included in the mix.

His top eight schools in no order are Tennessee, Clemson, FSU, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss.

Herring, a 6-3, 254-pound junior from Forsyth, GA (Mary Persons), already holds offers from 16 different schools.

I'll never understand why recruits post their top schools and say something like "no order" or "not ranked" yet each school is numbered.
