Transfer Shareef O'Neal, the son of LSU legend Shaquille O'Neal, announced on Twitter Wednesday evening that he has been cleared by NCAA to play for the Tigers this season.
Shareef began his college career at UCLA and sat out the 2018-19 season with a medical issue. He announced in January of 2020 that he was transferring and joined the LSU basketball team in April.
