Report: Daryl Edwards Is Going To Transfer After This Season

Not bringing Edwards back for next season means Wade has to have that scholarship for an incoming player. I doubt Will made this decision haphazardly. I mean, Edwards has been a very valuable part of the team. So there must be some very talented players Wade has confidence is going to sign with LSU. Also, with the players already on roster I doubt Edwards would get a lot of playing time next season. I hate to see a high character player leave, but this is what happens when a program is getting super talented HS recruits and the team is improving. As a grad transfer? Then he must have had or will soon graduate, right? Good for him! He should transfer to a school that has a good grad program. If he can play one more year of the game he loves while going to school, more power to him. It's not like he's pro-bound. Get that education! Move on with your life.

I hate to be honest here, but the team has played much better with their current 8 man rotation than when he was getting minutes. So this doesn’t surprise me.

He’s gonna miss out on a great ride if some of these freshman stay around
