LSU senior forward Kavell Bigby-Williams was named SEC Player of the Week by the league office on Monday for his dominant performance vs. Ole Miss and South Carolina. Per LSUSports.net:

The native of London, England averaged 13 points, 10.5 rebounds and had 6 blocks in wins over No. 18 Ole Miss and South Carolina. He made 71.4 percent (10-of-14) of his field goals and 75.0 percent (6-of-8) of his free throws.

Bigby-Williams started the week with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks and a steal in the 83-69 win at No. 18 Ole Miss. He posted his first back-to-back double figure scoring games and his first back-to-back double double in Saturday’s 89-67 win over South Carolina. He had 12 points and 11 rebounds against the Gamecocks. Read more.
